EVALUATIONS

EVALUATION: TERM 1

Term 1 was a great way of starting off the year, we did a lot of work and learnt a lot during this term. We did the book merchant of Venice which taught us valuable lessons and how to live your life correctly. This was a great term for me and I wish next term could teach me such valuable lessons. In the beginning of this term we decided that we all want to be thinkers and not be lazy anymore.

EVALUATION: TERM 2

In this term we completed the merchant of Venice and began the novel cry the beloved country which taught us morals and values. It opened our mind to the history of this beautiful country and the people who suffered during apartheid.

EVALUATION: COLLAGE AND SHANTY TOWN MODLE

During these tasks we learnt how to work in groups and interact with other people from our class. When making the model of shanty town we learnt how people struggled during the period of apartheid and how they lived compared to the white people who thought they were superior.

EVALUATION: AUDIO ASSGNMENT

While doing this assignment we learnt how to act as a radio spokesman and we had a brief summary of the book the merchant of Venice on this audio assignment.

EVALUATION: VAAL HEARINGS

By doing this interview with an apartheid activist I understand how people felt during the apartheid era and why they did such things which might look crazy to us now but at that time it was the correct thing to do because the government was been irrational and unfair to non-white people.
