Crime in South Africa

Ever wounded what South Africa would be like by 2010. Well, here is my point of view about our so called refurbished country.

Crime is escalating day by day and this country is becoming worse. I wonder if we will be able to host the 2010 soccer world cup with the rate of crime at the moment. Crime is becoming more common, but what I hate most are murders and robberies. Imagine going to a country where you will be mugged, shot at, hi-jacked or pick pocketed, if I were a tourist I wouldn’t want to see South Africa.

They said that good should out way bad, at the moment it looks like there is no good in South Africa. South Africa is a great country, but the bad that lurks in the darkness is not anything great.

According to nationmaster.com South Africa has the 2nd highest crime rate in the world. The crimes of the top statistics are as follows:
Assaults-535,461
Car theft-99,963
Kidnappings- 11 kidnappings
Murders (per capita)-0496008 per 1,000 people
Murders with firearms- 31,918
Murders with firearms (per capita) - 0.719782 per 1,000 people
Rapes- 53,008
Rapes (per capita) - 1.19538 per 1,000 people
Total crime- 3,422,740

Statistics have shown that South Africa has an extremely high crime rate and if we don’t do something by 2010, South Africa will be a big crime site for the world to witness.
